United States Digital Space LLC offers a hands-on Installer role within a residential solar installation team in Greenbelt, MD. You will work with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete projects, emphasizing safety, quality and teamwork across different tasks from layout to final connections.

The role supports growth in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical tasks and collaboration with customers and coworkers to deliver reliable solar solutions.

Qualifications

• Prior solar, construction or military experience preferred but not required.
• Adheres to company safety policies and procedures, including ability to identify and report safety hazards.
• Ability to get along with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to meet due dates and perform well in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal, crew and job site safety at all times and participate in training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety.
• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
• Complete layout and assemble solar modules, the racking, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation of installation as specified in the project plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms.
• Perform project clean up including client site and installation vehicle to ensure a clean and orderly job site and work environment.
