Job summary

Specialist Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a utility-scale solar construction project in the Southern U.S. The role focuses on supervising electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and ensuring quality and safety across all electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will manage testing activities, review diagrams, and coordinate field personnel and contractors to deliver the project on time and to spec. Per diem is provided and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong background in electrical and fiber optic testing.
• Experience with MV terminations, inverters and BOS equipment.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Hands-on testing methods and equipment including OTDR, VLF, VOC, insulation tests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical testing activities across the project.
• Oversee contractors and field personnel to ensure safe, efficient work per specs.
• Review and interpret single-line drawings and project documentation.
• Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning of MV systems and solar equipment.
• Support project execution from construction through energization and turnover.
