Bechtel Corporation is looking for a professional to supervise and execute electrical activities related to commissioning and start-up of solar projects across various locations in the USA. The chosen candidate will ensure compliance with project quality standards and safety requirements during the commissioning phase.

The ideal applicant will have a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience (5-8 years or 9-12 years relevant experience) in substation construction and testing, especially on solar projects. Strong leadership, communication skills, and knowledge of regulatory standards are essential for teamwork and project success.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in commissioning, startup, operation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems.
• Understanding of project workflows from design to fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical activities related to commissioning and start-up.
• Plan and schedule CSU execution activities.
• Participate in construction-to-CSU turnover walk-downs.

Skills

Experience in substation construction & testing (NETA)

Experience in the design of solar facilities

Technical experience of commissioning and start‑up of electrical systems

Knowledge of engineering systems and regulatory standards

Effective communication skills

Good leadership skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent)
