We are looking for a Crew Lead Installer to assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role also involves providing leadership to other crew members on the job.
Installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.
Installers work as part of a team. Installation of solar panels requires the help of Technicians and Electricians.
Piece-Rate (“Panel-Rate”) Compensation: This position is compensated under a piece-rate pay structure based on the number of solar panels installed per job and/or per week. Installers may also have the opportunity to earn a quality bonus, which is determined based on established quality and performance standards that each job must meet. Compensation under the piece-rate structure is subject to applicable federal and state minimum wage requirements.
