Job summary

Ion Solar seeks a Crew Lead Installer in Bloomington, IL to assemble and install solar photovoltaic systems, lead crew members, and ensure quality and safety on each project. You will configure PV setups, inspect materials, and supervise job site readiness while coordinating with electricians and other technicians.

Eligible candidates have high school diplomas, prior solar installation experience, and willingness to train crew members on equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Solar install experience is required.
• Vocational or technical school training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install solar panels on roofs.
• Configure PV systems based on site conditions and connect to the grid.
• Lead and train crew members on procedures and tools.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
