Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a dedicated Laborer to support solar farm construction projects. This non-driving role involves manual labor and assistance with various tasks essential for project completion.

You will unload and organize materials, perform site cleanup, help skilled trades, and operate basic tools while following safety protocols and PPE requirements. Outdoor work in varying weather is expected, with physical tasks and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong safety mindset and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the unloading, sorting, and staging of materials and equipment on job sites.
• Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, waste disposal, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools and materials and following instructions.
• Dig trenches, post holes, and foundations by hand or with hand tools.
• Perform basic assembly of components under supervision.
• Operate small hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., drills, grinders, shovels, rakes).
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
