Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables in Madison, WI seeks a Project Delivery Intern to support the execution of solar projects from engineering through operation. The 12-week summer role reports to the Senior Project Manager in our Madison, WI office and is a full-time internship.

The role involves coordinating planning, assisting PMs with submittals and procurements, reviewing schedules, managing RFIs, and ensuring safety and quality across projects. Compensation is $25/hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed an associate or bachelor's degree.
• Preferred major in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with ownership, initiative and accountability.
• Proficient with MS Office, Windows and project tracking software.
• Hands-on construction experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capacity for multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and active construction of multiple projects.
• Assist Project Manager with submittals, purchase orders, on-site walk-throughs, change orders, RFIs, pay apps and close-out documents.
• Review project schedules and assist in procuring major equipment.
• Process RFIs and submittals, and manage close-out documentation.
• Review and manage project quality requirements.
• Provide steady, reliable communication while managing schedules, budgets, contractors and risks.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental policies are followed by all personnel.
