Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Construction Project Management Intern for Summer 2027 in Madison, WI. You will support the project delivery process across the solar construction portfolio, starting with engineering/procurement and progressing toward commercial operation.

The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and is a full-time summer internship designed to develop hands-on experience in construction management, procurement, RFIs, and project closeout while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

Pursuing or completing an associate or bachelor’s degree.
Excellent, professional written and verbal communication.
Self-motivated with proven ownership, initiative, and accountability.
Hands-on construction experience and practical understanding of general construction and electrical trades preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support planning and active construction of multiple projects.
Assist Project Managers with submittals, purchase orders, on-site walk-throughs, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, and close-out documents.
Review project schedules and assist in procurement of major equipment.
Process and manage RFIs and submittals, project closeout documentation.
Review and manage project quality requirements.
Maintain steady, reliable communication while managing schedules, budgets, contractors, and risks.
