Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables seeks a Construction Project Management Internship for Summer 2027 in Madison, WI. The intern will support project delivery across the solar construction portfolio, reporting to the Senior Project Manager and assisting from engineering through commissioning.

The role requires pursuing or completing an associate or bachelor’s degree, with preference for Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completing an associate or bachelor's degree.
• Preferred major in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Excellent, professional written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with ownership, initiative, and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability with MS Office, MS Windows and project tracking software.
• Hands-on construction experience and understanding of general construction and electrical trades preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with integrity and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proven ability to provide reliable service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support planning and active construction of multiple projects.
• Assist Project Managers with submittals, purchase orders, on-site walkthroughs, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, and close-out documents.
• Review project schedules and assist in procuring major equipment.
• Process RFIs and submittals, and close-out documentation.
• Review and manage project quality requirements.
• Maintain steady communication while managing schedules, budgets, contractors, and risks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed by all personnel at the project.
