Job summary

SunEnergy1 is seeking an Operations Manager to support the successful execution of utility-scale solar construction projects. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, logistics, field coordination, and administrative functions, partnering with the Construction Manager, Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction operations, preferably in utility-scale solar or heavy civil projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction compliance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations for utility-scale solar construction projects.
• Coordinate daily site activities with Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Assist with execution planning, staffing, and operational support.
• Monitor productivity, manpower utilization, equipment usage, and material flow.
• Help ensure construction activities align with project schedules and milestones.
• Identify operational issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, equipment tracking, and KPIs.
