Conductor Power is seeking a skilled Solar Construction Laborer to support installation projects at sites nationwide. You will prep sites, handle materials and assist in assembling racking systems for solar arrays, collaborating with installers and electricians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in solar installation or construction preferred.
• Ability to travel 100% to job sites.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by grading, trenching, and ground leveling to specifications.
• Set up temporary structures, fencing, scaffolding, and safety barriers.
• Operate forklifts, trenchers, and compactors (as licensed) to support site readiness.
• Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment across the site.
• Assist in the assembly and secure placement of racking systems and support structures for solar arrays.
• Perform more advanced tasks in the installation process, including fastening, securing, and alignment checks.
• Work closely with solar installers and electricians, providing skilled labor assistance in wiring, panel placement, and component assembly.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all materials are installed correctly and meet project specifications.
• Support testing of solar systems, ensuring all components are functional and properly installed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE and OSHA standards.
• Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks; report incidents promptly.
• Use hand and power tools to perform installation and repair tasks.
• Assist with site restoration and cleanup at project completion.
• Complete tasks requiring attention to detail, such as measurements, leveling, and alignment.
• Complies with all company policies.
