Job summary

NRG Clean Power in Los Angeles is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to maintain cash flow by ensuring accurate and timely collection of revenue across solar projects, including milestone billing and customer deposits. The role requires experience with AR, billing, and collections, and familiarity with solar milestones (NTP, Install, PTO) and lender portals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1+ years of AR, Billing, or B2B/B2C Collections experience.
Solar, construction, or renewable energy industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Solar Finance & Milestone Billing.
Process Milestone Invoices: Generate and submit invoices for milestones such as NTP, Installation, PTO.
Manage Lender Portals: Submit docs, clear stipulations, and trigger fund releases.
Reconcile Funding: Match funds to disbursements and deposits; account for lender fees.
Cash Collection & Accounts Receivable.
Proactive Collections: Contact homeowners and clients about past-due balances.
Monitor Aging Reports: Review aging to reduce DSO.
Resolve Payment Disputes: Investigate billing discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
Payment Processing: Post payments to customer accounts daily.
