Thalle Construction Co., Inc. in Palm Beach County, Florida, seeks a Project Engineer for the CEPP Everglades Agricultural Area A-2 Reservoir project on the Central Everglades Planning Project.

The role focuses on night shift supporting daily production with the Soil Cement Team and requires hands-on soil cement operations and heavy civil experience. The position reports to the Soil Cement Project Manager and involves coordination with the Project Manager, Superintendent, QC, field crews,

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or QC Tech on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with soil cement construction or soil cement field operations.
• Primavera CPM scheduling or similar, and CAD knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working on USACE projects.
• Experience supervising operations teams is a plus.
• Background check and drug testing.
• Prior heavy civil site project experience (water control, levee, concrete, mass excavation) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Serve as a key member of the Soil Cement Team, supporting daily operations.
• Work night shift to support soil cement production, placement, and field operations.
• Monitor production, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate and document soil cement production, materials, equipment, and field activities.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, and drawings related to soil cement.
• Coordinate with Superintendent, QC, crews, subcontractors, and project management to resolve issues.
• Create and manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.
• Participate in daily, weekly, monthly project meetings.
• Maintain communication with clients, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and team.
• Prepare monthly pay requests for PM review.
• Obtain material quotes and prepare purchase orders.
• Track material quantities and on-hand inventories.
• Maintain RFIs and submittals.
• Track invoices and receipts for field POs.
• Create and file project documentation in Primavera and Expedition.
• Update construction schedules in Primavera P6.
• Assist with jobsite document control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
