Job summary

Thalle Construction Company is seeking an experienced Plant Operator for Soil Cement/RCC production on the CEPP Everglades project in Palm Beach County, FL. The role supports operation of large-scale soil cement and RCC plants, ensuring safe, efficient production and alignment with project specs.

You will monitor equipment, coordinate with plant management, QC, and field crews, perform inspections, and help maintain records while adhering to safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating heavy civil construction equipment, concrete or RCC plants.
• Ability to read operating procedures, mix designs, and project specs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple plant functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor soil cement and RCC plant equipment and batching systems.
• Ensure production aligns with approved mix designs and specs.
• Control flow of materials through the production process.
• Monitor gauges, controls, and computerized systems for issues.
• Maintain production rates and assist with maintenance and QC.
• Coordinate with truck drivers and field crews for material flow.
• Maintain clean, safe plant area and follow safety requirements.
