Job summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) in Palm Beach County, FL. The role focuses on soil cement operations, coordination with project management, QC, and field crews, and reporting on daily production.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on soil cement experience, an engineering background, and the ability to work on a fast-paced construction site with a night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Experience with soil cement construction or heavy civil projects preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Soil Cement Team, providing engineering and project support for daily soil cement construction operations.
• Work primarily on night shift to support soil cement production, placement, and field operations.
• Monitor daily soil cement activities to ensure production, quality, and schedule requirements are met.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate documentation of soil cement operations and production quantities.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, QC personnel, field crews, subcontractors, and project management to address soil cement field issues and maintain production.
