Job summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) in Palm Beach County, Florida.

You will report to the Project Manager and Superintendent, ensuring safety, accuracy, and smooth project execution on a large-scale embankment dam & associated structures. You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and vendor relations while coordinating with teams and maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer or similar on heavy civil projects.
• Primavera CPM scheduling or similar software; CAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports and monitor production and schedule.
• Create and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.
• Lead meetings weekly and monthly with stakeholders.
• Maintain client, owner, subcontractor, and vendor relationships; document control.
• Prepare monthly pay requests and track invoices and material quotes.
• Track materials usage and quantities; manage project documentation in Primavera.
• Assist in maintaining construction schedules in P6 and project drawings.
