Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering or program management, incl. hands-on engineering experience in compilers, systems software, or embedded software.
• Strong experience with the software delivery flow: compiler toolchains, embedded SDKs, CI/CD, test coverage, performance benchmarking, and release engineering.
• Proven ability to build and defend a bottoms-up schedule with critical path analysis and dependency mapping.
• Track record influencing without authority: ability to push senior engineers on commitments and dates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to run executive reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the quarterly software release from planning through ship, including schedule, critical path, and criteria.
• Coordinate handoffs across compiler, system software, embedded, architecture, product, and hardware teams.
• Drive weekly release cadence: reviews, triage, go/no-go, and maintain a single source of truth.
• Maintain release quality gates: no regressions, energy, or code size deltas; ensure test coverage thresholds.
• Track escaped defects and feed learnings into the checklist.
• Deliver executive reporting on release status, risks, and decisions needed.
