Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Tester in the Homeland Sector to support a mission-critical tool combining custom code and integrated COTS products for a DHS customer. Responsibilities include test planning, CI/CD monitoring, regression testing, and defect management, with a focus on quality assurance and knowledge sharing.

A Bachelor's degree and up to 2 years' testing experience are required. Applicants must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 2 years of software testing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
• Must obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance and be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, strategies, and test cases from requirements.
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines, tests, and logs to catch issues early.
• Perform regression testing to safeguard existing functionality.
• Execute manual and automated tests; record results and report findings.
• Identify, report, and prioritize defects with the dev team.
• Improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools for efficiency.
• Document test cases and share knowledge with the team.
