Job summary

Mission Technologies in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Integrated Training Systems Software Development team. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Virginia Beach area.

You will lead testing activities across software, hardware, and web components, develop Level 3 test procedures, perform regression testing, and provide on-site support up to 10% travel. A bachelor’s or master’s in engineering with relevant experience and an active DoD Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with required years of experience
• Experience with Unix/Linux, C++, Java, and GUI testing
• Security+ certification (or must obtain within 3 months of hire)
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Level 3 Test Procedures against Software Requirements Specifications
• Conduct regression testing in lab environments and on ship when required
• Integrate network operating systems, applications, and hardware during testing
• Provide on-site support for installations and system verification (up to 10% travel)
