Silvus Technologies is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the Software Quality Assurance team onsite at its West Los Angeles, CA headquarters. The role focuses on manual regression testing and exploratory testing across StreamCaster products, collaborating with engineers to debug issues and triage defects.

You will develop testing scripts for features like PTT and network performance, document requirements, and help uphold product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related technical field.
• Understanding of software testing practices (unit, integration, system testing) from studies or internships.
• Fundamental networking concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual regression tests.
• Lead ad-hoc testing and debugging efforts for the software department.
• Perform exploratory tests against defect reports, new features, and bug fixes.
• Triage defect reports and collaborate with engineers on their resolution.
• Develop scripts to aid testing for features like PTT and network performance.
• Record tickets for detected software defects.
• Document software product requirements and design decisions.
• Adhere to software usability and quality standards.
