J&T is hiring a Software Test Engineer – Level 2 in Columbia, MD for full-time work. The role focuses on full-lifecycle software testing, automated framework development, and system integration for mission-critical systems.

You will design, develop, and maintain test plans, automated suites, and environments, and execute various testing types across Linux and Windows with Python scripting. Collaboration with development teams is essential to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and automated test suites.
• Execute integration, acceptance, performance, and security testing across Linux and Windows.
• Collaborate with development teams to track and resolve software problem reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and automated test suites.
• Provision, configure, and maintain dedicated test environments and testing infra.
• Perform I&T and Acceptance Testing to ensure functional/design requirements.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python.
• Execute performance, load, stress, interface, and security testing with code-coverage tools.
• Configure and maintain Linux and Windows OS, test apps, and network devices.
• Document test results and track remediation of issues to closure.
• Support hardware problem dispatch and troubleshooting in test lab environments.
