Base salary ranges from $79,400 to $119,000, depending on location, experience, and skills. Additional incentives may apply.

Job Description

Join Cox Automotive as a Software Test Engineer II and contribute to transforming the auto transportation industry. You will work on the largest self-managed auto transportation platform in the country, connecting shippers with carriers, and ensuring platform quality and innovation.

Technical Stack: .Net (C#), React, Playwright, Selenium, JMeter/K6, Typescript, PostgreSQL, AWS, Rally, New Relic, Git, GitHub, Splunk, Salesforce, PagerDuty.

Responsibilities

1. Support testing across multiple applications and system components.
2. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand testing requirements.
3. Participate in architecture and design reviews, focusing on test automation.
4. Design, develop, and execute test plans and frameworks.
5. Create comprehensive documentation and identify risks and issues.
6. Assess the impact of new features on existing tests and evaluate testing feasibility.
7. Develop test cases based on specifications.
8. Communicate testing needs to engineering teams.
9. Propose and implement process improvements and new testing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with up to 2 years, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably .NET C#.
• Familiarity with AWS and Docker is preferred but not mandatory.
