Job summary

NDI Engineering is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst mission in Lakehurst, NJ. This on-site role requires a US citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance.

You will develop, coordinate, and execute test programs for ALRE systems, review test data, and report results to engineering teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 3-5 years of software test engineering experience, with 3+ years on ALRE or similar systems.
• Experience with test and evaluation processes.
• Experience with agile software test and evaluation; SAFe a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document findings clearly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel to work aboard US Carriers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and execute test programs as a Software Test Engineer.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on ALRE systems.
• Develop, review, and maintain test plans, procedures, data, briefs, and reports.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in program and systems engineering reviews for ADMACS.
• Provide recommendations for improvements based on testing results.
