Job summary

AM General seeks an experienced software test professional to lead testing efforts for defense-grade systems at our Auburn Hills location. You will develop and maintain STAPP, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure cyber-secure software across projects.

Role requires 5+ years in software test, expertise with HIL/SIL, and familiarity with CMMI/CMMC; travel up to 25% may be required as part of collaboration with vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating on programs with internal and external software test teams.
• Ability to develop System Integration Lab for HIL and SIL testing.
• Experience developing software test scripts and automation.
• Experience creating STAPP documents.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity testing and software quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Institute Software Test Plans and Procedures (STAPP) and best practices for software testing.
• Coordinate internal and external teams to develop and maintain test scripts for multiple projects.
• Ensure software testing follows Cybersecurity guidelines and is cyber secure.
• Develop and run a System Integration Lab with support from 3rd party experts.
• Implement and manage CMMI and CMMC compliant procedures.
• Interact with cross functional AMG team including Supply Chain, IS&S, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering; liaise with outside vendors and customers.
