About the opportunity

Dayforce is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Partner Development Manager to lead our expanding Microsoft alliance while supporting the broader ERP partner ecosystem. This role is responsible for advancing Dayforce’s presence across the Microsoft ecosystem—particularly through AppSource, Azure Marketplace, and Dayforce’s co-sell, resell, and referral channels—while also contributing to the development and growth of other ERP and ISV relationships.

You will lead cross-functional execution between Dayforce and Microsoft to enable partner success, build scalable programs, and expand the pipeline through indirect motions. In addition, you’ll support our broader ERP strategy by identifying synergy opportunities with other key platforms and partners, helping to extend Dayforce’s footprint across the HCM + ERP landscape.

What you’ll get to do

  • Build and execute a partner development strategy aligned to Microsoft’s partner motions—including co-sell, resell, and referral models.
  • Develop strong relationships with Microsoft Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Azure and Dynamics sellers, and Microsoft-aligned partners to drive awareness, differentiation, and joint pipeline.
  • Champion Dayforce’s role within Microsoft’s industry GTM initiatives—particularly across retail, manufacturing, and public sector.
  • Support onboarding, enablement, and scaling of Microsoft-related partnerships for efficient channel engagement and co-selling.
ERP Partner Ecosystem Engagement
  • Collaborate with business development and product teams to identify and cultivate relationships with ERP platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, NetSuite) and their ecosystems.
  • Monitor trends, integrations, and alliance opportunities that align with Dayforce’s strategic roadmap and vertical priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-ERP enablement and go-to-market initiatives, including joint messaging and multi-platform marketplace strategies where appropriate.
Marketplace Operations & Optimization
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Dayforce offers in Microsoft AppSource and Azure Marketplace, including transactable and private listings.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure seamless billing, offer configuration, revenue recognition, and financial reconciliation for marketplace-led transactions.
  • Analyze marketplace metrics and recommend optimizations to improve conversion, lead quality, and channel influence.
  • Work closely with Dayforce field and partner teams to identify and activate joint opportunities sourced or influenced by Microsoft and other ERP partners.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to report on marketplace- and ecosystem-influenced pipeline and forecast impact.
  • Drive engagement and execution of field-facing programs, co-branded campaigns, and solution-specific demand generation across geographies.
Program & Performance Management
  • Ensure Dayforce’s presence and participation in Microsoft programs (e.g., Partner Center, Co-Sell Dashboard, OCP GTM) is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned to priorities.
  • Provide insights and reporting on ecosystem performance—spanning Microsoft and other ERP alliances—based on data-driven KPIs and qualitative feedback.
  • Develop scalable, repeatable partner-facing frameworks that support long-term success across HCM + ERP integrations and GTM channels.

Skills and experience we value

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in partner development, ecosystem strategy, or alliance management—with direct experience in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft solution areas (e.g., Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365), co-sell frameworks, and marketplace operations.
  • Experience working with or alongside ERP providers (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle, NetSuite) and understanding of how HCM-ERP partnerships evolve.
  • Operational fluency in Partner Center, AppSource/Azure Marketplace, and commercial offer setup—including private offers, revenue operations, and financial compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, develop strategic alliances, and create measurable partner success programs.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
