This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and implementing sales strategies to attract corporate clients. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting hotel revenue targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute sales plans to increase occupancy and revenue through corporate bookings, group sales, and special events.

Manage Current Accounts

  • Attain personal booking goals and monitor production compliance.
  • Secure a thorough understanding of hotel operations and negotiate profitable sales.
  • Manage familiarization trips and site visits to nurture new business and highlight the unique features of the Resort.
  • Solicit new business by resourcefully expanding the account base; identifying and developing new markets; creating and executing innovative plans.

Market Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into bookings through cold calling, networking, and industry events.

Collaborate with the Sales Network

  • Participate in trade shows and community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Attend important business networking events.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Strong organization and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Flexible and adaptable in working in other key sales areas as necessary.
  • Optimistic self-starter with a high degree of drive, motivation, and initiative.
  • Fluent in the use and functionality of Delphi preferred.
  • Ability to travel.
