Job summary

Generac seeks a Software Systems Administrator to oversee software systems that support scheduling, data collection, engineering, and production tools at our Waukesha HQ. The role includes migrations, upgrades, maintenance, documentation, and delivering actionable dashboards.

You will train users, capture VOC, and drive improvements in system performance. You will collaborate with engineering and business leaders to implement solutions and ensure smooth operations across multiple platforms,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS/Engineering.
• 5 years of software administration experience.
• Lead at least one large software system upgrade or migration (100+ end users).
• Experience managing at least 5 software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages software systems supporting scheduling, data collection, engineering, and production tools.
• Ensures migrations, upgrades, maintenance, and documentation; delivers metric reporting and dashboards.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to capture VOC and supports users through training and documentation.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience; recommends solutions to leadership.
• Develops and trains software users; supports indirect business processes related to user interaction with software.
