Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Chief of Staff for the Software Organization to keep leadership aligned on the company's most critical priorities through cross-functional partnerships. You will drive organizational maturity in onboarding new engineering talent, define KPIs, and ensure aligned objectives and key results across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in senior roles such as program management, business operations, or management consulting
• Execution skills: lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable results
• Analytical: data-driven problem-solving and quantitative analysis
• Strategic mindset: connect long-term vision to tactical execution and risk/opportunity identification
• Communication: strong written and verbal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Lead the Software organization's OKR process and ensure alignment with goals and partner needs
• Oversee onboarding materials and training for software teams, including on-site activities
• Manage communications to resolve escalations around deadlines, misalignment or resource gaps
• Own the strategy for internal and broader company communications within the Software organization
• Align and publish the org strategy for government and sensitive missions
• Champion company values and mission across the organization
