Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC is seeking a software reverse engineer to analyze embedded devices and their supporting infrastructure. The role involves penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and documenting findings.

A TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance is required for this position, located at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate has 5 years of reverse engineering experience or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree, with strong C/C++ and Python skills, and proficiency with industry standard tools.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a software reverse engineer or four years additional reverse engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools.
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (written and verbal).
• Team-based collaborative abilities.
• Resourceful problem solving and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware, software, and signal analysis of embedded devices and their supporting infrastructure.

Description

This candidate will perform hardware, software, and signal analysis of embedded devices and their supporting infrastructure equipment. They will be expected to perform penetration testing and vulnerability analysis of these embedded devices and associated infrastructure. In addition, they will also be expected to document these results.

Required Skills And Experience

• Five (5) years of experience as a software reverse engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. OR Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools
• Experience automating reverse engineering tasks
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
