Job summary

Staffmark Total Talent Solutions is seeking a Software QA Test Engineer for an on-site contract in Plano, TX. The role focuses on testing the Mobile Wallet solution and validating critical features such as Cash Back, Digital Payment, Galaxy Card, and more.

Ideal candidates have a software testing background, strong communication, and the ability to document issues clearly; travel may be required for field testing, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience testing web/mobile apps and creating test scripts/test cases.
• Strong communication and English language skills; Korean a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests per defined standards and procedures.

• Log defects and follow up with fixes and regressions.

Position Description

We are seeking a QA tester to ensure device compatibility and test the Mobile Wallet solution focused around business-critical features associated with the product such as Cash Back, Galaxy Card, Digital Payment, etc. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a software testing/development background with the capability to think critically to test/detect issues from a user perspective, troubleshoot issues to find trigger points, evaluate criticality, and, above all, effectively communicate to deliver an accurate message.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing as per the set standards and procedures
• Ensure that the test is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures
• Submit test results as per procedures
• Register detected bugs/issues and follow up with fixes and regressions
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced business environment
• Business travel for field testing when necessary
• Collaborate/communicate closely with team members within the department/team

Requirements

• Tech savvy: Intermediate-level skills using Microsoft solutions, mobile devices, digital wallet solutions, and track logs to troubleshoot issues in 1st depth
• Familiarity with Fintech solutions and knowledge of its market trends is desirable
• Experience in the Mobile/Telecom industry is desirable
• Good time-management skills and punctuality
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in testing web-based systems and applications on mobile devices or other products
• Experience working with test scripts and test cases
• Experience working with digital wallet; Samsung/Google/Apple Wallet (Plus)
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Korean language ability is a plus)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
