Software Quality Assurance Engineer – Onsite in Sioux Falls, SD

CAPITAL Services provides analytics, financial modeling, compliance, custom processing and end to end servicing for financial institutions nationwide. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer you’ll define, build, and maintain both automated and manual test environments for major applications. Through collaboration with our Software Development team and being the subject matter expert in your field, you’ll help to develop our testing methodologies and plans for executing Quality on our custom-built applications.

Your focus as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Create, maintain, and execute automated functional and regression testing suites
• Provide mentorship and coaching to QA team members on technical skills and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with Software Development on the maintenance and design of the software delivery pipeline
• Create and execute detailed Test Plans and Test Scripts based on business and system requirements
• Collaborate with the Development team to create meaningful User stories
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Conduct post-implementation testing
• Identify, collaborate on, and track defects, issues, and risk for projects and releases

You have:

• Earned a 2 or 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
• Have 3 year’s experience in Software Quality working automated quality assurance testing tools; or an equivalent experience in software quality and software development
• Ability to write detailed systems documentation and test plans
• Proficiency in working with SQL queries and relational databases
• Experience with creating automated testing scripts

You have our attention if you have these extras:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Knowledge of credit, debit, or have financial technology experience
• Experience in an Agile environment
