Job summary

Light & Wonder in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design and execute comprehensive test suites validating functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.

You will own testing for features, analyze defects, and collaborate with R&D teams to rapidly diagnose and resolve issues while mentoring junior SQA engineers and leading key project coordination efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 3–5 years of software testing experience.
• Experience with manual and automated testing across complex software.
• Familiarity with gaming or embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute tests (manual and automated) based on specs.
• Own testing for assigned features including regression, system, integration, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results to identify root causes and propose data-driven solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality metrics and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to triage bugs and drive quality improvements.
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and test field-reported bugs in live or simulated environments.
• Perform hardware/firmware validation as needed.
• Maintain thorough test documentation and quality reports.
