Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association seeks a Software Quality Analyst to ensure the quality and performance of business-critical apps, focusing on D365FO and custom .NET systems. You will design regression tests, maintain suites, and validate enhancements prior to release.

The role collaborates with developers, analysts, and end users to align with business requirements and deliver stable functionality as new features are introduced.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Experience testing enterprise business applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience developing and executing regression test plans and test cases.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using SQL for data validation and testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain regression testing suites for D365FO.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, Transportation, and related areas.
• Develop and maintain automated testing assets.
• Validate configurations, customizations, integrations, upgrades.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects until resolution.
• Review requirements and develop testing strategies.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT for web apps, APIs, services, and integrations.
• Verify functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in Agile processes: sprint planning, backlog refinement, release validation.
• Recommend test automation and quality process improvements.
• Develop testing documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Produce testing metrics and status reports.
• Assist with root cause analysis of production issues.
