Job summary

Mill Steel Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a D365 F&O Developer to design, develop, and support D365 F&O customizations using X++. You will work with our Microsoft partner to learn the architecture and promote a robust SDLC.

The role focuses on D365 F&O development, data entities for Power BI, and integrations with WMS and shop-floor systems, with an emphasis on reliable delivery and continuous improvement. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on D365 F&O development experience (X++).
• Strong understanding of ERP data models, extension patterns, and integrations.
• Experience with SDLC/DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain D365 F&O solutions with X++.
• Design data entities and reporting structures to support Power BI.
• Implement integrations between D365 F&O and other systems (WMS, shop floor, etc.).
• Provide technical support and ensure stable, reliable delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and releases.
• Collaborate with Microsoft partner team and document knowledge transfer.
• Support post‑go‑live SDLC and DevOps enablement.
