Robert Bosch Group is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead North American software development for Electric Power Steering projects. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across software, system, hardware, and mechanical teams to meet milestones and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related engineering field.
4+ years in automotive embedded software development.
2+ years in project management or leadership role.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and processes.
Ability to make decisions in complex, dynamic situations.
Experience interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

Lead software development activities within the project organization.
Define, track and align project plans and release schedules for all software work.
Clarify technical content to meet customer requirements and project targets.
Interface with internal/external customers on software topics.
Coordinate with platform group on new tech and development activity.
Plan and lead development across multiple locations/regions.
Collaborate with system, hardware, and mechanical leads to meet milestones.
Assist in budgeting and guide the team to targets.
Track software issues and ensure timely resolution.
Prepare and obtain approvals for software releases and quality gates.
Coordinate handover with manufacturing and production sites.
Ensure alignment with development processes and acceptance criteria.
Report status/metrics and support quality/safety audits.
