Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Mequon, Wisconsin, seeks a Product Owner, Software, to maximize value for the Scrum Team. You will report to the Software and DevSecOps Engineering Manager and operate in a hybrid schedule.

You will define backlog items with clear acceptance criteria, prioritize work across teams, and ensure timely releases aligned with PI planning.

Preferred: 5+ years in software development, SAFe and POPM/PSPO certifications, and familiarity with Rockwell Drives and industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required
• We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more Team backlogs that are thoughtful, visible, and the 'single source of truth'
• Define backlog items, including clear and concise acceptance criteria
• Define and communicate an inspiring vision of what the backlog items will provide when integrated together
• Prioritize backlog items and optimize their flow to multiple Teams, especially for PI Planning
• Track Sprint-by-Sprint goals and PI-by-PI objectives to support on-time releases
• Ensure Teams understand the required intent of backlog items
• Enable Teams to showcase critical components to Stakeholders
• Collaborate with Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Product Manager and stakeholders
