Title: Software Partner Solutions Director (NA Store and Canadian Market Unit), Chicago, Philadelphia, Montreal

Purpose & Objectives:

The Software Partner Solutions Director plays a key leadership role across SAP North America and Market Unit by working with Third Party Software Partners. The key responsibilities include driving revenue through Partner Orchestration by effectively leveraging Experiences and Operationalization of the Canadian Market Unit Strategy and NA Store Partners. Additionally, this role involves managing 2-3 Software Partners as a Partner Leader. Critical skills and experience include understanding enterprise software sales, building trusting relationships internally and externally, executing as a force multiplier, and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.

Expectations and Tasks:

  1. Integrate Partner & SAP strategies across Sales, Alliances, Marketing, and Solutions
  2. Set Market Unit Strategy for all Partners
  3. Align Store Partners with SAP Strategy on the Store
  4. Tailor demand generation tactics
  5. Implement Partner Orchestration to ensure accountability and success
  6. Increase partner presence in SAP offices
  7. Deliver in-person presentations to Partners' Sales and Alliance Teams
  8. Attend partner-sponsored events to generate pipeline with high conversion rates
  9. Maintain knowledge of all Third Party Software (3PS) activities (Sales, Alliances, Demand)
  10. Identify end-to-end solutions to drive incrementality across organizations and sales segments
  11. Oversee 3PS Marketing and Events for Canadian MU and Store Partners
  12. Drive deal execution (CQ) and expansion (Q+1, Q+2)
  13. Manage MU annual 3PS revenue and forecast
  14. Ensure accountability, effectiveness, and execution aligned with Partner Edge guidelines
  15. Establish and maintain relationship plans with 3PS (External/Internal)
  16. Create scorecards with MU Leadership
  17. Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and communicate effectively to provide clear, insightful, and optimistic experiences

Work Experience:

  • SAP NA field experience
  • 7+ years in the software industry in sales or related roles
  • Experience developing and executing strategic partnerships

Education & Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office; strong analytical and influencing skills
  • Positive energy, innovative mindset, and championing best practices
  • Ability to develop, champion, and execute strategic initiatives with complex partners
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across matrixed organizations
  • Expertise in GTM sales pipeline and opportunity development
  • Ability to lead change initiatives and thrive in ambiguity
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent
  • Proximity to SAP offices in Chicago, Philadelphia, or Montreal (preferably within 40 miles)

Compensation Range: The annualized total compensation for this role ranges from $137,300 to $294,000 USD, including base salary and variable incentives, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors. For more details, see SAP North America Benefits.
