Software Partner Solutions Director (NA Store and Canadian Market Unit), Chicago, Philadelphia, Montreal

Purpose & Objectives:

The Software Partner Solutions Director plays a key leadership role across SAP North America and the Market Unit, working with Third Party Software Partners. Responsibilities include driving revenue through Partner Orchestration by leveraging Experiences and operationalizing the Canadian Market Unit Strategy and NA Store Partners. Additionally, the role involves managing 2-3 Software Partners as a Partner Leader. Essential skills include enterprise software sales understanding, relationship-building, executing as a force multiplier, and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.

Expectations and Tasks:
  • Integrate Partner & SAP strategies across Sales, Alliances, Marketing, and Solutions
  • Set Market Unit Strategy for all Partners
  • Align Store Partners with their SAP Strategy
  • Tailor demand generation tactics
  • Ensure Partner Orchestration aligns with a single strategy for accountability and success
  • Maintain Partner presence in SAP offices
  • Deliver in-person presentations to Partners' Sales and Alliance Teams
  • Attend Partner-sponsored events to generate pipeline with high conversion rates
  • Develop knowledge of all 3PS activities (Sales, Alliances, Demand)
  • Identify end-to-end solutions to drive incrementality across organizations and sales segments
  • Oversee 3PS Marketing and Events for Canadian MU and Store Partners
  • Drive deal execution (CQ) and expansion (Q+1, Q+2)
  • Manage MU's annual 3PS revenue and forecast
  • Ensure accountability and effectiveness per Partner Edge guidelines
  • Establish Relationship Plans with external and internal partners
  • Create scorecards with MU Leadership
  • Foster a positive team environment and effective communication
Work Experience:
  • SAP NA field experience
  • 7+ years in the software industry in sales or related roles
  • Experience developing and executing strategic partnerships
Education & Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office; strong analytical and influencing skills
  • Positive energy, innovative mindset, and championing best practices
  • Social strategy expertise
  • Ability to develop and execute complex strategic initiatives with partners
  • Team collaboration across matrixed structures
  • GTM sales pipeline development skills
  • Change management and thriving in ambiguity
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent
  • Proven business development skills in the software industry
  • Availability to work in-office 2-3 days/week with partners
  • Preferred locations within 40 miles of Chicago, Philadelphia, Montreal

Our compensation transparency policy reflects our commitment to pay equity. The annualized salary range for this role is $137,300 - $294,000 USD, depending on experience, education, and location. Benefits details can be found at SAP North America Benefits.
