Qualifications

12+ years of experience with the selective rearchitecting of C++, Java, and Python applications using microservices.
Ability to define, justify, and defend a suitable and selective modernization strategy, including selection of modules maintained, strangled, or replaced, based on mission benefits and cost.
Ability to input non-functional goals into the rearchitected system.
Ability to define and communicate a recommended incremental modernization roadmap, including functional availability, performance goals, sequence, and key milestones, to the software team.

Responsibilities

Design enterprise architecture to enable strategic transformations and modernization initiatives.
Mentor and supervise software teams.
Communicate modernization plans to the USG customers and stakeholders.
