Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton, a leader in national security IT solutions, seeks a Cloud IT Solutions Architect, Lead, to guide a team in designing and deploying enterprise cloud systems for federal missions.

You will collaborate with engineers across AWS, Azure, and GCP, leverage Kubernetes and DevOps practices, and drive modernization initiatives to deliver scalable cloud components for national programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google for Federal customers.
• Experience leading the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms at enterprise scale with innovation through self-organized initiatives, emerging tools, COTS products, and industry best practices to challenge cross functional teams to generate outcomes.
• Experience leading technical teams, including cloud professionals through solutions development and testing.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years of experience in technology in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain 8570 IAT Level II or III Certification within 6 months of hire date

Responsibilities

• Oversee our team of cloud professionals and guide design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud components.
• Collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers across AWS, Azure, and GCP to deliver enterprise-scale solutions for federal customers.
• Lead solutions development, testing, and DevOps practices to modernize IT infrastructure and support mission programs.
