Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software and Systems Engineer to design and modernize cloud‑based data processing systems supporting mission operations. You will translate requirements into robust specifications and collaborate with customers to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities include designing cloud software, modernizing pipelines, and maintaining documentation with traceability; you will participate in Agile planning and support activities to advance our mission

Qualifications

Experience with Systems Engineering and Model‑Based Systems Engineering.
Experience with Agile methodology, requirements definition, system documentation, and customer support.
Ability to support missions through detailed, well‑written, government‑accepted documentation and requirements traceability.
Proficiency in identifying and tracking technical debt, risks, and opportunities.
Strong team‑oriented mindset and ability to engage in Agile planning and support.
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Design and architect cloud‑based software systems that meet customer mission requirements.
Evaluate and modernize data processing pipelines in the cloud.
Translate real‑world needs into technical specifications and documentation.
Track and manage technical debt, risks, and opportunities at both tactical and strategic levels.
Participate fully in Agile planning, execution, and support activities.
