Job summary

QED Systems, LLC at APG, MD seeks a Software Licensing Specialist to manage COTS software licensing for programs, coordinate procurement, and ensure accurate license baselines. The role requires an active security clearance and collaboration with PM IS&A in a co-located government setting.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of relevant experience, an associate degree, and strong communication skills to validate license requests and maintain records across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Direct experience gathering/eliciting COTS software licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather and elicit COTS software licensing requirements from stakeholders and program teams.
• Coordinate the procurement of software licenses through various procurement and contracting vehicles.
• Review and validate software license requests to ensure requirements are accurate and authorized.
• Distribute and track software licenses while maintaining accurate software license baselines and records.
• Audit software licensing information and create and maintain Version Description Documents (VDDs).
• Coordinate the replication, packaging, and distribution of software media to field locations.
