Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a technically strong engineer who has progressed into mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and helping drive technical direction across complex application environments in Pittsburgh.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET, React, Next.js, and microservices, and be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring security and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers, reviewing code and influencing architectural decisions.
• Comfortable with AI-assisted development tools and review of generated code.

This team is also heavily leveraging AI-assisted development tools, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable using AI to accelerate development while still being technically sharp enough to review generated code, identify issues, and ensure what is being delivered is scalable, secure, and maintainable.

We’re targeting candidates with 8+ years of software development experience who have experience mentoring engineers, reviewing code, solving complex technical problems, and helping influence architectural decisions.
