Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at Lead/Staff/Principal level.
• Expertise in C#, Azure, and SQL Server with strong Angular/TypeScript experience.
• Azure Services extension experience.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core and SQL Server and related technologies.
• Desirable: experience in financial services.

• Design and build scalable software solutions end-to-end across front-end, back-end, and database layers.
• Lead cloud architecture and development using Azure.
• Drive technical direction, design reviews and engineering standards.

Job description

We’re partnering with a growing IT Services Provider looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.

This is a hands-on Staff Engineer role, focused on application development, cloud architecture and technical leadership. You’ll work closely with architects, product managers and engineers to design and build scalable software solutions, while helping shape technical direction and engineering practices.

You’ll work across:

• Application development across front-end, backend and database layers
• Cloud architecture and development using Azure
• C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript and SQL Server
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment through Azure DevOps
• Automated, integration, performance and security testing
• Production support, observability and troubleshooting
• Technical design, code reviews and engineering standards
• Mentoring developers and influencing technical decisions across teams
• Continuous improvement of engineering practices, processes and technology choices

They’re looking for someone with:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with experience working at Lead, Staff or Principal level
• Expertise in C#, Azure, and SQL Server, alongside strong Angular/TypeScript experience
• Extension experience with Azure Services
• Experience with technologies including ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and similar technologies
• Experience within financial services is desirable
