Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Integrator to provide essential software support onsite at APG, MD. The role requires TS with the ability to obtain SCI and a Poly, and involves containerization using Docker/Podman and Kubernetes, plus scripting in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

The candidate will work with Windows, Linux, and various CI/CD tools in a high-security environment. Responsibilities include configuring hardware, testing software, and maintaining system

Qualifications

• At least six (6) years of relevant experience within the last 8 years.
• Must have TS with ability to obtain an SCI and a Poly.
• Containerization experience with Podman, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Bitbucket, Jira, GitHub.
• Experience with scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide software support for laptops, desktops, system storage, and servers including hardware configuration and testing.
• Design and structure network configurations and monitor systems in mixed Windows, Linux, and containerized environments using Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Review logs for server, Java, Ruby, and Python errors.
• Create and modify PowerShell, Bash, and shell scripts as needed.
• Utilize Docker/Podman or other containerization platforms.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

The SWI will provide essential software support on the contract. The SWI's full time duty location will be onsite at APG.

Must have experience in the following:

• Providing software support for laptops, desktops, system storage, and servers including the configuration of the hardware devices, testing new software and designing the structure of the network.
• Monitoring and developing the system configuration within a mixed release Windows environment, Linux environment, and containerized environment utilizing puppet, ansible, Kubernetes and other tools.
• Reviewing logs and output for server errors, Java errors, Ruby errors and Python errors.
• Reviewing, modifying and creating within PowerShell scripting, bash scripting and shell scripting.
• Utilizing Docker/Podman or another containerization platform.

Qualifications
