Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions, Inc. in Belcamp, MD is seeking a Software Architect, Journeyman for an on-site role at APG. You will translate user requirements into robust hardware-software systems and contribute to test strategies as part of a DevSecOps team.

The ideal candidate has a Computer Science or engineering background and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, Kubernetes, scripting, and front-end design. Clearance at Secret level is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
• Three (3) years' experience within the last 5 years.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

The SWE will provide functional and empirical analysis related to the testing of software systems. The SWE's full time duty location will be onsite at APG.

Must have experience in the following:

• Interacting with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design.
• Participate in the development of test strategies.
• Solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
• SW Dev & Integration background
• DevSecOps: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD
• Kubernetes: Container lifecycle, create & customize
• Scripting: PowerShell, Batch
• Front-end Web Design
