SageCor Solutions LLC. is seeking a skilled systems engineer in Maryland to manage Linux environments and monitoring stacks. You will develop dashboards with Thruk, Nagios, Grafana, and Splunk, while automating tasks with Salt and Ansible.

Expect collaboration with teams using Jira and Confluence, and support of Slurm-based workloads. Strong security clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux system administration in diverse environments.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and shell scripting (BASH).
• Experience with monitoring and dashboarding: Thruk, Nagios, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Automation and configuration management using Salt and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slurm for project tracking and HPC workloads.

Responsabilités

• Perform Linux administration across multiple distros (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Thruk, Nagios, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Automate tasks with Salt and Ansible; implement monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira/Confluence; support Slurm-based workloads.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Required Experience:

10 YOE & B.S OR 15 YOE - IAT II

Required Skills:

• Strictly Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu [new])
• Expect potential for up to 50% of the day feeling system administration task focused out of the gate to learn the
  systems
  
• Python, C, BASH
• Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins. Also manage feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards
• Salt and Ansible for automation
• Prometheus for metrics - moving toward additional customized Grafana dashboards
• Gitbucket
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slurm
