What you’ll do (responsibilities)

We’re looking for junior backend engineers to:

• Design, prototype, and implement features ensuring stability and usability
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and engineering teams
• Build and ship features, managing expectations
• Participate in diagnosis, planning, and workflow discussions
• Use independent judgment for actions and solutions
• Address challenges and recommend solutions to stay on track
• Debug and resolve bugs to maintain quality
• Review technical contributions and collaborate on improvements
• Support product needs through on-call rotations

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• 2+ years of professional engineering experience
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, interested in Golang
• Experience with distributed systems on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience reviewing and refactoring code, writing tests
