Job summary

Assured is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Palo Alto, CA to lead a talented team as we scale our platform. You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and partner with product and design to deliver secure and reliable features.

You will steer architectural decisions, grow the team, and ensure fast execution while maintaining a strong culture of collaboration and learning. A startup mindset with focus on usability, performance, and security will be key.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
Experience leading teams in a high-growth startup environment; hands-on when needed.
Passion for building usable, high-performance, secure products.
Proven ability to set goals, communicate clearly, and deliver measurable results.
Strong track record of attracting, developing, and retaining engineering talent.
Ability to translate customer and business needs into technical roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop engineers through mentorship, feedback, and career growth conversations.
Collaborate with product and design to deliver secure, scalable features for users.
Guide architectural decisions, promote best practices, ensure performance and reliability.
