Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with required years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of embedded and application software engineering processes and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methods and tools.
• Understanding of Model-Based Engineering practices.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Software Engineers within the Munitions group in the Textron Systems Weapons division.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for Software Engineers, including full-time staff, co-ops, interns, and contractors.
• Forecasting needs to meet program and organizational requirements.
• Drive software engineer development and engagement through performance management and mentoring.
• Oversee customer deliverables, including architecture and requirements development, and ensure quality and customer alignment.
• Analyze quality metrics and gather feedback to improve departmental performance.
